Barloworld Ford Tygervalley - Battery problems and Service Center mess!

We bought a demo model Ford Figo a few months ago, was basically still new, +- two months later the battery started giving issues, radio and all equipment will switch off and error shown on the radio warning that the battery is low.

We were then advised to take the car to Tyres&More to have the battery tested, they've confirmed that alternator was overcharging the battery and that the battery would certainly be damaged due to this, the car was then booked in for repairs the next week. When we collected the car we were told that in fact nothing is really wrong and that they "only charged the battery a bit", completely ignoring what Tyres&More told them was wrong. According to them the battery will be fine now.

Fast forward only TWO weeks, and the battery problems are back again, low voltage and equipment shuts off when engine is switched off.

Again we phoned the service department, this time being transferred a total of 7 times asking to speak with Sue-Anne or a manager, after 7 transfers the call was cut, at time point everyone's blood would be boiling from frustration!

The only person with some decency there (Neels, who sold us the car) is on leave and cannot assist us this time, which is unfortunate. The service department is a complete mess, and it's very disappointing that they can't fix a simple problem the first time the car was booked in, they think we magically have the time to take the car in during business hours and that everyone can arrive late for work...

Now we have to go through the same thing once again, but only if we manage to make a booking!

Extremely disappointed in Barloworld Ford Tygervalley (service center) to say the least, truly hope they can resolve this mess once and for all.
