Appalling service I wasn't expecting...

While, traditionally my family has received incredible service from this dealership recently the service has been appalling… and also while there are many great people working at this dealership who take their jobs seriously and do deliver wonderful service. I feel its necessary that this issue be brought under their attention.. Certain models of Toyota have recently been recalled due to airbag issues.. and while they were quick to inform us of said problem and that the vehicle would need to come in, to test the airbag at no cost to us that is if it needed to be replaced, their failure to do anything about this afterwards was terrible.. Its been numerous months later, and to date our vehicle has yet to be tested. There have been numerous calls made by us to arrange pick up of thereof as we ourselves are unable to take it there ourselves which they were all to glad to do, but nobody ever picked up the vehicle or informed us they couldn't or to discuss a change of plans. Since every time we call we are told someone will be in touch and nobody ever gets back to us.. This is in no way to throw shade at the people who have done amazing service for us in the past or unforeseeable circumstances but I do feel its necessary that light is drawn to the fact, if there's a potential defect with a vehicle, more should be done in a more urgent manner to rectify it... I don't expect to snap my fingers and the issue be resolved but its unacceptable that such level of negligence on their part has taken place in regards to a recall issue..
