Appalling Service from Barloworld Ford Tygervalley
Barloword Ford Tygervalley - Service Department
Booked my EcoSport in for a Service beginning for August. 105K Major Service which cost me just shy of R10K. After the service I suddenly hear strange noises coming from the dashboard. I returned the next day and had the foreman looked at it. Turned out the noise was coming from the CD player (which I never used - ever). He advise to have the vehicle booked in for another day so that they could remove the media equipment and run more tests. I also complained about the excessive smoking when doing a cold start. They did some software update / tuning during the first service, but it didn't resolve the problem.
Vehicle went back on Friday (24th Aug 2018) and they did absolutely nothing. I had to call and ask for updates on my vehicle and then they informed me that any repairs to the CD player will be for my cost. (which I didn't cause)
After arguments and conversations with the service manager and foreman, they promised to contact me today (27th Aug 2018) with another date to book my vehicle in for a 3rd time, whilst doing more extensive testing / checks as suggested by the Foreman for the smoking. We also agreed that the radio will be removed and send for checks by the supplier upon which they will provide me a report of what the problem is and what caused it.
During this time they promised would provide a loan vehicle to me.
The fact is they have not contact me today at all, and clearly they don't take this seriously.
