After 2 weeks of waiting, I was abandoned.
I came across Car Mall in Durban Road, Cape Town .A car had just came off the truck the day before, the car was still dirty and needed slight body work.

I was really interested from the outset and on the same day (7/02/15) I signed a OTP agreement as suggested by the salesperson (to reserve the car).I made it very clear that I would FIRST want them to send the car to fix some of the scratches (standard practice) and also to be cleaned as it was really dirty(this was meant to take a few days). The salesperson assured me he will let me know as soon as it gets back. I signed another OTP on 10/02/15. I was in contact with the sales person everyday to find out what's happening because I wanted to wrap this up.

The car was delayed, it got back after the Valet on Thursday (19/02/15). On the same day, I had the car checked out again as I said I would, and agreed to purchase only to receive a call about a problem, another salesperson pushed an offer through on the car as my offer to purchase expired, which the manger authorised. My finance was organised so there was no delay on my side.

I did everything as requested, yet unfairly lost out due to malicious salesman practice.
