****med by Baraka group

I have been ****med by Baraka. Since I joined their programme in 2024. Almost two years later I am still under debt review/ blacklisted. After receiving my clearance certificate in May 2025 Florence one of the consultants advised me to apply for credit but I got declined due to non removal of debt review. To dateI still get calls from other service providers offering to remove my name debt review which means that for me this programme was just a futile but expensive exercise. Each time I got calls I would Baraka to get clarity but would get different stories from the consultants. Early this year I got a call from Baraka offering me a debt removal service, I then informed the consultant that I have a clearance certificate from them but to me it is just a useless paper worth almost R5000.00. After enquiring from his manager he informed me that I was removed from debt review but I am still blacklisted so I needed to pay a further R3000.00 for my name to be removed from credit bureau then my matter would be settled. I did pay the amount and afterwards the last time I heard from Sphesihle Dube who is supposed to be assisting me was on the 28 September 2026. I feel ****** as a customer not once but twice and this is so disappointing.
