The price you see is the price you pay!!!

I was not going to post this on Hello Peter but I'm finding no joy by inboxing the above mentioned retail outlet on Facebook so here my story is.... I went to babies R Us woodmead retail park uesterday to buy my toddler a bed, I got there and the price for the bed was advertised as R1399, I asked the sales consultant on the floor if this is the right price and he said yes! I proceeded to the tills to make the payment got there it was no R1999.90 and the cashier was very rude and called another lady and they proceeded to talk in a language which I did not understand! I waited 10 minutes and nobody took the decency to explain to me why they advertised the wrong amount..this is false advertising ! I know my right the consumer pays the price they see or is this what you guys are doing showing lower prices to lead consumers on???? I am extremely disappointed in how I was treat as if I am some kind of stupid! The entire staff needs to go for customer service training and they need to be more friendly at the end of the day the consumer pays what they see and of this doesn't get resolved ill be forced to go to the consumer protection act and report you guys for false advertising

How does the law of the price you see is the price you pay to other retailers but not you???
