Black Friday *******

We visited a store over the weekend (19/11) to be exact and saw a Branch changing storage unit priced R1800, Babies R us are now advertising black Friday specials on the same item with a 50% discount with the original price being R3000 and not R1800 anymore, I understand prices are subject to change due to the economy but that's almost double the price in one day, our economy is bad but not that *****ed up, the discount percentage is now actually only about 17% from the original R1800 to R1500. The store also confirmed that that specific item only arrived a week before and it was not on sale or on special... I find it ridiculous that Babies R us would increase the price and then claim you getting you getting this massive discount... When I mailed Babies R us, they say they have no control over the price as it's from the supplier, ( lame excuse, not even an apology) when a supplier supplies you with an item a price is usually agreed upon and locked for a period of time and cannot be changed over night... I have supported Babies R us / Toys R us for many years and have not been this disappointed.. What a ploy to get sales......
