Baby shower gift registry abomination

My wife spent hours setting up a registry on the website, due to the fact that the items have to be added one by one and can't be added as you browse (like when adding items to the 'cart').

After going through this horrible schlep, the registry code was then communicated to the organizer of the baby shower and was in turn distributed to all the guests.

When people visited a store, the staff were unable to see which items had already been purchased, which quite frankly, defeats the whole purpose of having a registry. My wife may as well have made a list to send out along with the invitations.

Customer Care was equally unhelpful. They said that they would "refer the query to the developer" and get back to us. It has been 5 days and we're still waiting for any kind of response.

What a way to ruin something that's supposed to be special and stress-free.
