A tradition of excellence

I grew up in Bloemfontein where Awerbuchs is found. I have always hated shopping, I hate it even more now. . In the 1980s I used to go to Awerbuchs because there was always somebody to assist you the minute you walk in. As I grew older I would go there to buy my children's school clothes because I could walk in and an attendant would get me the things I wanted. About a year ago I visited the shop in Langenhovenpark and a lovely young lady again did all the searching for me. Heaven!! Recently I bought 2 pairs of Javelin jeans by placing a telephone call as I live about 400km from them. Pops wss happy to go Jean hunting, find out how I could pay, make arrangements for collection, the whole tutti. Now if there's one thing I hate more than shopping, its inline shopping. So, once I find something I like and that fits, I go back to it. Everything went like clockwork. I however have lost some weight and went from a 46 to 42 in 2 months, or do I thought. I put the new jeans away and two weeks later discovered I'm now a 40!!! I called Pops and explained the situation to her, asking if I could send the items back via Peps. After a bit of enquiry she not only said no problem,. They were going to send me the swopped jeans at no cost to my door. Thank Pops and Awerbuchs for not becoming smithing uncaring, money grabbing online store. Thank you for keeping your humility and humanity. This is why I will come back to you time and time again.
