Handed Over
I registered as an Avon representative in 2019 (I can’t recall the exact date), I did not do well as a representative as I did not make many sales, due to work becoming busy.
I understand that AVON works in tiers and my ‘leader’, Alida Ackermann, contacted me to ask if she could put sales through on my name. I agreed as I understood that she wanted commission. Now I keep getting messages that I owe nine hundred and odd rand. I have contacted Alida on numerous occasions and been told that she will make payment.
I have spoken numerous times to AVON customer care to please log this and assist me, but it falls on deaf ears. I will not pay for products that I did not sell or take receipt of.
This needs attending to as you have handed me over to debt collectors and I refuse to pay for items that were not ordered or processed by me.

Could I kindly ask for some feedback? I did receive your call (Thank you :)) but I am still getting messages demanding payment and lawyers phoning me continually. And I can see how this is going to go. I am going to get blacklisted because of this.

Please can I have in writing that you have contacted the actual individual who owes money and that she has acknowledged payment?
As I want to send this to the lawyers to get my name off their list as you have not updated details with the lawyers.

So I am blacklisted because my team leader purchased on my account and has only paid back the minimum. This is now going on for 3 years. I refuse to make payment to Avon as I did not buy or sell any of their products and will not be put out of pocket for this.
Avon, you could have the decency to look into the history of this and direct the lawyers to contact the person who owes the money to you.
