I app**** for a Home Loan with Absa, only to be informed that I have an account that is in arrears with AVON for 9 months. I have never opened such account and as a result I contacted TransUnion who advised that I should contact the Avon Head office because they suspected that this was a ********** account. I contacted them (Avon Justine) and forwarded a police affidavit stating that I have never opened any such account with Justine Avon and that I request this account be closed urgently, my certified ID copy as well as my proof of residence to ********** The Avon consultant advised that this will be sorted out within 7 days max. I sent through the email and have yet to receive any assistance or response from the Avon ***** Department!! I am fed up and extremely angry because I HAVE NEVER OPENED AN ACCOUNT WITH AVON, EVER!! This ********** account is causing me problems because I cannot apply for any loan and my credit record is affected by an account I know absolutely nothing about! I do not know what to do now!
