AVON ***** and Identity theft

I tried applying for a bond, and lo and behold, I am declined, and advised, to my surprise that I owe R18000.00 to AVON, for a number of transactions made with my details.

I haven't purchased Avon products in years and how does such a big amount go unnoticed. Certainly some form of background and credit checks should have been performed continuing these transactions! I've contacted Avon, and was advised to send details and an affidavit through. It has been been days with no feedback. Due to this ********** behaviour I am at risk of losing my reservation to the property I'd like to purchase. And there is no urgency on Avon's side to speed this up and clear my credit status.

Reviewer Update
So, after writing my initial ***** review, Gugu Vilakazi in the Escalations & Retentions Consultant responded to my complaint. This was last week Wednesday. I still do not have any resolution regarding the ********** transactions that show up on my name. I have a day to resolve this, as I am still at risk of losing my reservation to a property I'd like to purchase. Due to the lack of urgency on Avon's side to resolve this, the reality is, that I will lose my reservation to this property. It has been 2 weeks now, with no further information or resolution. Avon has really instilled a lack of trust here, and this experience has confirmed my decision not to support Avon, and spread the word of my terrible experience with Avon.
