Avon account opened **********ly on my name

I checked my ITC and found a default from Avon. there was an Avon account opened **********ly on my name.<br> I did all the necessary paper work and affidavit to confirm I never opened the account. Avon sent me an email saying that the matter has been resolved and they will send a letter to the credit bureaus to clear my name.<br> that wasn't done as per their email. I called Transunion who advised that Avon never sent them any instruction with regards to the default. this is totally unacceptable as I am trying to apply for a house which I now cannot do thanks to Avon who couldn't follow procedure and get the matter resolved. i am aware these things take 20 working days however its been a month now....also the account was opened up in July 2014 without my knowledge. i doubt i will even get a response from them on this.....
