UNPAID CLAIM

I made a death claim on the funeral policy of my late husband ,claim no: *** but the claim was not paid because the beneficiary on the policy is late and the policy does not have a beneficiary. I am legally married to the assured and i am the one responsible for his funeral expenses. I was told that this funeral policy money will form part of the estate . To my surprise how can a funeral policy form part of an estate, this money was supposed to bury the policy holder, the family went into debt because the only money which was supposed to be used to bury the policy holder was withheld.

As the surviving wife I am not pleased with the way AVBOB handled the matter. Now I am supposed to pay for funeral debts. Why did he have this policy in the first place if you can't pay for his funeral expenses?
