Its regarding the poor service that we received from Avbob for my mother's tombstone. They joined two pieces of bed slabs, the tombstone had a crack on the side and the inscription came back with an error on my mom's date of birth. The tombstone that we chose is nothing like the one we chose at the mortuary's flyer. The people who erected the tombstone were supposed to arrive on Friday the 7th of May 202 but ended up arriving on the 8th of May 2021 at 00h15 resulting in them working in the darkness and therefore there were so many wrong things with the tombstone. I raised the issue with the Pietermaritzburg and Matatiele branch but I was promised that they would come to fix everything on the 14th of May 2021 however up to this day I haven't heard anything from them and only to be told that the supplier of tombstones is out of reach. It's really painful because everything has been paid for to get such service and treatment. It's honestly not fair to grieve and to also deal with such things at the same time. I then called Avbob's client services and I was advised to send an email to their complaints department however there's not even a reference pertaining my complaint.
