Funeral Policy Dis-honouring

My Brother passed away. He had a very small funeral cover through Solidariteit, but it was underwritten by AVBOB.

He had cancer and was hospitalized where he also underwent an operation. Unfortunately he passed away a few days after and still in hospital. We were told that because he passed away in hospital and so soon after an operation that an Autopsy needs to be done.

We waited 2 and half weeks for this and finally the undertaker could collect his body and documentation in order to register everything. Unfortunately for us, the coroner wrote "unnatural causes" on the certificate. Next to that he also indicated that no police involvement is needed.

Now AVBOB refuse to make any payout, because according to them the police first need to give a statement that there was no foul play. The police is not involved at all and we can't get the payout from AVBOB.

This is not LIFE-COVER that will not pay out under certain circumstances, this is a funeral cover in order to cover costs in case of death. AVBOB, the last thing I need now while still mourning my Brother is to take this **** from you. The truth is, you are trying your best to not honor the policy from your side. I'm disgusted by you!!!
