Claim not paid

I opened up a policy with Avbob,paid the premiums from my own pocket.Insured my father' life with them.Well he passed on last year.I claimed but didnt have all documents since I was far from home.When i finally got all the proof they needed I got a very surprising answer that they had paid my claim to someone else.Now,I have been up and down asking why but nobody cares and Im not the only person complaining about this in my workplace.Please pay my money before I approach legal offices because im tired.
