Bad funeral service

<p>I used Avbob Mokopane to bury my grandmother in 2014 Septemeber. </p> <p> </p> <p>Well, I know the company to have a reputable name, which I thought I could trust, but to my suprise it was not the case.</p> <p>Since my grandmother had a policy with them, my mother chose a casket for R 35000, we were just going to top up the difference. Upon realising that the coffin was a flatlid and not a dome, I asked if we could be given cash and use another funeral palour instead. However we were adviced that we would only get the money in two weeks time and that we'll be charged for transport and storage.</p> <p> </p> <p>Question: Why were we told that claims are paid after 2 weeks?</p> <p>Since then, we decided to use Avbob.</p> <p>My twin sister went to wash the body on Friday in the afternoon, but was told that all that was done, and the body had been coffined already, and she's too late. When I arrived later on, I viewed the body, only to find that the the body was not dressed accordingly, her church cloak was not as it should have been. I kept quite because there was tension already, and did not want to cause issues. </p> <p> I asked if we could help load the casket into the he****. This was my part of my way of saying goodbye to her, however we were rudely told that we can't and I should relax, I am too tjatjarug. I was only 20 years old at the time and was the beneficiary of the policy, thus the person in charge of funeral arrangements. </p> <p> </p> <p>On Saturday, the he**** was late which caused a delay of the procession from church to the graveside. We paid +/-R 17000 and were promised family cars, but instead a silver family car with no identifiable logo was brought, together with a black he****, one small fresh spray and two plastic flowers.</p> <p> </p> <p>The set up at the cemetary was aweful. There mat was small and the chairs were about 10....</p> <p>Is that really worth the money paid? There was no value added to us...</p> <p>However the reason I never complained was that one of the staff members Maria was always friendly, always willing to help wherever she could.</p> <p> </p> <p>Who does that?</p> <p>AVBOB</p>
