AVBOB - Increasing trauma of the family members every step of the way

Losing my mom was a traumatic experience in itself, AVBOB Moreleta Park not only increased the trauma but they amplified my family's stress and distraught during this time.

AVBOB Morelete Park retrieved my mom's body from the hospital, my family and I decided to use them for the funeral. We selected the coffin we wanted to bury my mom in, the room for the funeral, and instructed them how to set up the room for the funeral.

We were informed that due to them being overworked and understaffed they are not able to assist with the service, arranging bookmarks/canvasses/candles, or anything. We even had to bring our own tablecloth if we wanted to use a table to display an image.

On the day of the funeral, AVBOB Moreleta Park had not followed a single instruction in setting up the room for the funeral, 15mins before the funeral was supposed to commence I had to call them to remove furniture and reorganize the room as we had initially requested.

Then I realized that THE COFFIN WAS NOT THE ONE WE HAD SELECTED AND PAID FOR my mom's funeral!! I immediately asked what happened to the coffin we had selected and paid for, they did not know, they had not even been aware it was the wrong coffin and they needed to "investigate" what happened.

Needless to say, I did not hear anything from AVBOB Moreleta Park regarding the incorrect coffin, I had to follow up twice before I got the excuse that they should have let us know there was a change in the coffin, but I should please forgive them because they are overworked and understaffed.

Considering what their service fee is for hosting the funeral, they should not be overworked and understaffed, if you are working in an industry where you are dealing with traumatized family members YOU SHOULD NOT BE OVERWORKED AND UNDERSTAFFED!!

Using the excuse of you are working long hours every day is not a reason for not letting the family know they are not getting what they are paid for!!

I also requested to have my moms ashes by the 19th of August as we have made plans to strew the ash, however, they cannot confirm when the ash will be available because the crematorium is not letting them know what is happening with the cremation.

If you want to increase your trauma, heartache, and stress in a time of someone passing then use AVBOB Moreleta Park. I will not recommend them to anyone and will warn anyone against using AVBOB for funerals.
