Avbob Funeral Services

<p>My mom passed away the 22nd of September 2016, we did not know what to do and was reffered to Avbob. Kempton Park motuary came to fetch her at the Home she was staying. My sister and I then went to the Heidelberg branch where we are residing, to do the necessay arrangement. the ladies at Avbob were, at that point, very friendly and helpfull, well that is where it ended..... we as the public do NOT know what the procedures for arranging a funeral all intales and asked Bianca and Lynette please to assist us.. well that never happened. We just had a small memorial service with a cremation afterwards. We received an invoice about 3 times with all different costs, costs that we paid cash for was on the invoice. We aventually received the correct invoice, in the meantime we could only pick up the book marks that same morning of the service cause it was not done. The service was done and now comes the paperwork, I had to take off work 3 times, my daugter about 4 times to go back and foth to try and get the correct paperwork from them so that my sister who is the Executor of my mom's estate could persue the necessary paperwork to the bank and who ever else needs to get documentation. </p> <p>After we aventually paid Avbob only then mom's remains were carted back to Kempton cremotorium. She was only cremated on the 28th October. Avbob said they would let us know as soon as the ashes has arrived back to the Heidelberg branch. I heard NOTHING from then, I aventually phoned them around 17 November to find out that this Bianca and Lynette no more works for the Avbob branch in Heidelberg, it was now a new lady, I asked her if my mom's ashes has arrived for it is the middle og November already. She claims that she does not know anything about it.... well by then I was boiling, I mean this is my MOM we are talking about, after 20min of trying to get her to go look she came back to say.... ooohhh yes I see it is here already..... my daugter went traight away to fetch it and it was said by a black lady that I must please not come into their shop again. Well needless to say Avbob WILL NEVER see one of my family dead or alive......</p> <p>From 22nd September till Mid November...... I was very very disappointed in Avbob, specially all their promises the make over television, and I have first hand experience that it is not true.</p> <p> </p> <p>Many thanks</p> <p>Deidre</p>
