Accident double pay ****

My husband passed on the 6 April, accidental death. I claimed and was paid his policy cover amount. Someone advised me to ask about the double pay since it's accidental death. To my surprise noone knew about that at Avbob and after several calls I advise advised my claim will be investigated and it can take anything from 6 months to 2yrs. I feel like this is ridiculous and you are told not to call for follow up, just wait for a call which may take 2yrs
