Avbob Piet Retief

Avbob Piet Retief needs to be closed, worst experience ever. My husband passed away in Piet Retief where he was working, but actually lived in Bloemfontein. They sent 1 thin man to fetch him, who was off duty, after being told my husband is a big man almost 200kg. Young adults staying at the lodge where my husband was staying had to help the thin man to get my husband onto the stretcher and into the vehicle. The stretcher had no straps to strap him down, so they used rope lying around the area, then realised they tide the stretcher in flat position and had to unstrap him, lift the stretcher and strap again to transport him to vehicle. I asked for his wedding ring, them knowing I am in Bloemfontein, said he didn't have one on. I know for a fact he never took his ring off. I sent one of my husbands work colleagues to avbob to find out about the ring and all of a sudden, he had one on. They said they would send me his death certificate when they courier the ashes, which they didn't do. I then had to go get another death certificate for his estate to carry on. When avbob got the death certificate from Home Affairs, I was then blocked from getting my marriage certificate, which they were supposed to get with his death certificate, this has delayed his whole estate process. They sent our Samba funeral the invoice to pay, Samba confirmed the amount before payment in an ***. Now, 3 weeks after it has finalized, they want me to pay an extra amount of R7645 saying my funeral policy didn't pay for the coffin and cremation, which was on the invoice sent to Samba, and which Avbob had confirmed the amount to be paid in said email thread. My dad passed away 7 weeks after my husband, I advised my family to use another service. With the service they used, the process went smoothly, professionally, staff were kind and respectful to my passed dad and family and no extra costs weeks later. Some of which Avbob Piet Retief showed nothing of. This branch needs to be looked into urgently!!!
