will not cancel or allow me to exchange

i received an e-mail from auto page telling me about their valentines special , so i decided to pop into a store , this was the 14 of February , after my wife saw the gift ( did not open it in anyway ) she said she did bot like it , assuming they were closed on Sunday i went to the store on the 16th , they made me sit for 3 hours in the store , telling me that i must phone head office, then head office keeps transferring me and i keep getting cut off and i have to phone back all because i went to the store , i even offered to take something else.
