The contract Limit do not really Limit you

I took out a cellphone contract for my cousin as a gift. Months later she ran up a bill of more than R1500. I contacted Autopage and asked them if I could limit her spend to the free minutes as agreed between my cousin and I. The operator said yes i can limit her but to a minimum spend of R50 over and above the free minutes. The operator send me the paperwork and I send it back the very next day.
