Still billing cancelled contract

I cancelled my contract with Altec Autopage October last year but I still get sent emails every month telling me my account is not paid. I gave phone the call centre numerous time and then get told that my account is paid and cancelled. Don't know who dropped the ball but it is getting annoying and I might end up with a bad credit record.
