*****ing my number

I had a CellC contract through Autopage. When I moved to them I ported my number which I have been using for more than 10 years to them.<br> <br> When the contract expired I asked that the number be moved onto pre-paid because I was not happy with Autopage's service and was not in a rush to get a new contract.<br> <br> My phone got ****** and when I wanted to do a SIM swap over the weekend I was told that the number was not in my name and that it belonged to Autopage. The only way for me to get the number back was to get an Affidavit from the police and then proof that it is my number.<br> <br> So in short, Autopage took my long time number and now I have to jump through hoops to get it back. <br> <br> Not Impressed. Give me back my number.
