simple port to another network taking days !?

I have been a customer for over 10 years, I have upgraded before numerous times. I was contacted to upgrade and I did last week, firstly once I upgraded I never heard from anyone again so I had to call in and see when I was getting my new phone, eventually after screaming and shouting I got it on Friday past. I also discussed a port from Cell C to vodacom and was told it was a simple procedure, the agent even arranged that the phone would be with me the Thursday so any issues could be ironed out, BUT it was a simple procedure 2- 24 hours and done. Needless to say I didn't get my phone the Thursday anyway but the Friday and today Monday afternoon I am still waiting for my port ? I have emailed the agent, manager and general manager but no one is assisting me, I just get we have escalated the matter... shocking, I am contemplating sending the phone back and cancelling my subscription all together as I haven't used the phone.
