SIM card swop not been activated after 4 days
My phone was ****** on Wednesday night 29 April. I reported the phone ****** to Autopage on the 30th. I purchased a SIM card from a vodacom store and called Autopage to activate. I was told that I have to purchase a SIM card from an Altech Autopage store. I went on the 02nd May at 9am to Nicolway Centre branch to purchase the SIM. This SIM cost R50 more than the SIM at Vodacom. That afternoon I called to find out why activation had not taken place and I was told the SIM swop had not been uploaded, that it would be done bu close of business on Saturday. On Sunday morning the 3rd May I call Autopage to be told that I should wait another 24 hours for activation. On Monday morning at 8.30 am I was told that because my phone was not switched off the SIM swop could not take place. On Monday afternoon I was told that Autopage had a problem with the server over the weekend.Today at 8.15 I am told that my line was suspended but it has now been unsuspended. I was told to take the SIM out and put it back in, still no activation. I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that everyone is in a meeting and that my issue will be sent to service desk and can take 2 days for a response!!!
