********** repeatedly
I had a cellphone contract with Altech Autopage which expired in January 2015. I received a call in December 2014 with an offer to renew the contract, which I turned down. At the end of the contract I requested for cancellation and was told it would take effect in 30 days. On the 17th of February I received a bill of R 1 689.98 whilst I was accustomed to be paying R 844.99 and was expecting to pay less due to having cancelled one of the phones. I took this up with Altech and was informed that until cancellation I will be on a month to month. Reluctantly I paid. On March 17, I received a bill which still had the amount for the cancelled line. On inquiry I was told that my line was still active and that I will not be aware of it because the phone has been blocked due to arrears. I once again insisted that they cancel the phone and was again told of the 30 day rule. When the bill for April 2015 arrived, I was shocked to notice that not only was I billed for the line again but the package had been upgraded to a higher price. On inquiry the response was it was a mistake done by one of their agents and that I should once again register a cancellation, which I did. Still no change in May
