Port request denied,

Here goes! I'm at the end of my patients and there is no one left to complain to!

I've called the 'help' center 6 times each time hearing a different excuse as to why my number was unable to be ported to MTN. When Nashua threw in the towel it handed all its customers over to Altec. Altec apparently brought them in as Corporate accounts. This means that to port my number i have to open a corporate account with MTN. I cant do this as i don't have a company number. Altec as explained this to me and told me how to get around the problem, but my port is still declined and declined. MTN have spoken to them directly and i even have a reference number at long last, but still no port!

The cherry on top is that they said all i have to do is convert my contract to prepaid. one consultant said it would take a month then another said she would have it sorted by the end of the weekend and today one told me it would take 90days! What the HELL! How is it my problem that my contract was brought in as corporate from Nashua when i am a private client??
