non existant service

My son was ****** on Friday and his phone ******. i called the Altech Autopage customer service centre to report and block the number as well as going to the store which was locked and empty today. With the result that i cannot blacklist the number or do a sim swap for the new phone. They completely disappeared without notifying their customers. We have been customers for over 8 years.<br> I went to 2 MTN stores and they told me that the customer files had not bee transferred from Altech Autopage yet and they could not tell me when this would occur. MTN head office switchboard blocked my call to anyone with authority.<br> I must add that we have never had a problem with them in the past and always received good service.<br> I am at a loss after spending the entire day on my cell phone seeking advice.<br> Who is honouring the cell phone contract which i signed with Altech? Should i cancel the debit order?? <br> Hoping you can help me<br> Lauren
