Misleading insurance and refusal to rectify

When I updated to a new phone contract, I was told that the phone( Xperia) couldn't be insured as I was not going to use the sim in the phone.I was told that the old (Samsung S2) could be kept on the insurance and was charged monthly . I insured the Xperia on personal insurance. I dropped the Samsung and took it in for fixing for repairs, all the while under the impression that the insurance premium deducted monthly would cover the repair.I was then told by Melany that the person who dealt with me was at fault, Autopage only insures phones on new contracts. On the system it would appear that the Xperia was listed as the insured phone, but this wasn't possible as it was not insured for the correct amount. She blamed the person who dealt with tnew contract - left Autopage. I was paying for insurance and didn't have cover for either phone. Melany promised to refund. I wasn't happy - if I wasn't **** to, I would have insured the phone on personal insurance and would have had the cover I paid for. The repair cost R2300.00. Despite numerous emails I still have had no refund/replacement /explanation for why I have to pay for the repairs. To add insult, premiums werent stopped immediatel
