Laptop Repair
I took my laptop to Altech for repairs on in August 2015. <br> I have been to Autopage Eastgate, where I spoke to the Autopage consultant (Tumi) who stated to me that Autopage had no control over the laptop since the laptop has been sent to insurance for repairs. On Wednesday 21 October Tumi provided me with the insurance number so that I can call insurance and find out the progress of my laptop. I called Autopage insurance and spoke to Busisiwe Mtshali. Busisiwe told me that Autopage insurance has come to a resolution that they will replace my laptop (with and HP) rather than fixing it (Lenovo). Busisiwe further stated that I will have to pay around 1280r plus an excess of 450r to get a laptop replacement. I clearly explained to Busisiwe that I cannot afford to pay the 1280 plus the excess, thus I would like my laptop to be replaced and i will pay the 450r. Busisiwe kept insisting that Autopage will not repair the laptop but would rather replace. I then told her that I bought the Lenovo laptop as it was cheaper and could not afford an expensive laptop. I told Busisiwe Mtshali that I real need Autopage insurance to fix my laptop as I cannot afford the cost of replacing it. Busisiwe
