I phone 6 red screen of death

My wife took out a new contract with an I phone6. The phone developed a problem after turning it on after a flight. After an internet search on what the problem was, the conclusion is that it has 'the red screen of death'. The phone has come back from autopage's repair centre, not fixed. This has been going on for weeks. Calls are not returned. Even though internet searches reveal that Apple are aware of the hardware problem, and will replace the device, nothing is being done by autopage to replace or repair. Professor Grayson is attending an international conference next week and the phone is desperately needed. Help!!!!
