i have been a contract holder at autopage for as long as i can remember. over 10 years. talk 500 customer. was told when my contract was due for renewal that the that i had to change to a smart xl contract that would save me money on my current bill. my previous bills were always around R1200. my first 3 months bills have gone to R2200 of which over R300 is to pay off the new phone they supp**** me with that they never even mentioned when they gave me the new contract!!!. over 30% increase in costs for the same usage. i have been advised to contact the ombudsman as altech head office say that it is the fault of the person in the shop who gave me the contract ie not their responsibilty. what a ****. never again. hopefully with legal help i can release myself from this outrageous ****. my previous phone is still like brand new. no way i would pay R7k for a phone ever. it was always included in the cost of the contract previously. get your act together altech
