Debit orders

Good day, I have an account with Autopage which is now overdue, I was informed by a collections officer that It will be handed over to legal because they couldn't agree to an arrangement for more than 3 months I explained my financial status and advised that I am willing to pay I even asked her to provide me with the legal team contact number so that I can start making payments, which I never got the details, I then realised that debit orders for the full amount were going off and they come back unpaid which further affects my credit record even more, I asked if they could cancel the debit order's seeing that I'm being handed over but I never got a reply, even today i got an sms alert that a debit order will go off, I am willing to pay just that I can't afford to pay the full amount immediately, is there a way you can help please for them to stop these debit orders?
