CONTRACT Cancellation

I asked Altech autopage to cancel my cellphone contract. I went to the store, gave them a copy of my ID document and asked them to cancel my contract. The lady phoned back the next day, letting me know that I am no longer a customer of Altech Autopage. When I tried to get a new contract, Vodacom informed me that they have not canceled my contract. It is one month later and it is still active. Vodacom told me that there is nothing they can do. Altech autopage refused to help me and told me I am not a customer and they can only log a call at vodacom.
