Contract cancellation

I have been to Altech Autopage George in April to cancel my contract that was due for upgrade . The lady there made an ajustment on their system and said that I had to phone the customer care to inform them that I was cancelling the contract, which I did, I had to pay the last amount of R949.00, which I did, believing that the contract will be cancelled. I told to the customer line that I cannot use this contract because I am on a farm with NO reception, but still to date I get statements and they just deduct money when they want to, sometimes monthly sometimes they wait a few months and then just deduct amounts after 2-3 months, this month for instance they deducted more than a thousand rand. I have sent numerous letters, receiving a service report with a referance number, just to receive another message stating that the service query is now closed. I have had NO success with these people, and need to know what can be done to get this contract off my name and closed. I have NO use for the contract, and it has been cancelled, and the 2 year contract has expired. I G Scott
