I agreed to extend a contract, based on the express agreement that my phone and sim card would be delivered between 12:00 and 14:00. My airtime etc. has been suspended, but I have yet to receive the new phone and sim. I have contacted RAM couriers and was told that they could not give me a time. They do not operate that way. This is unacceptable. I am an attorney and time is money. I drove from Pretoria to Johannesburg to be available during the collection time.

30 May 2019, 17:37Finally courier arrived with phone, but no sim card. After being sent from pillar to post and being hung up on by *********** call centre staff I finally reached a competent lady, who advised me that the retentions sales person had **** to me about the new technology compliant sim being delivered with the phone and about only being switched to the new contract once I contacted them to activate the new sim. Of course panic had set in that a sim swapped sim may be circulating and my client's money being drained out of my trust account. The sales person told me what I wanted to hear - assured me that the new tech sim would most likely solve the poor data coverage I have experienced in the Sandton CBD amoungst other areas - and that it would be delivered with the phone. I have his name and all of my calls were recorded - by me. Unacceptable misrepresentation by ********* or poorly trained sales staff. Poorly trained call centre staff, with the one exception. All together a huge waste of my time and damaged caused to relationships with my clients.
