Branch sat on my repair phone for 3 weeks

On 22/06/2015, I took my Sony Experia phone to Autopage Greenstone, as the screen was damaged. The phone is insured through Autopage. I filled in a claim form and handed the handset to the clerk in the store, who told me that the phone should be repaired and returned to me within 4 to 6 weeks. I asked for some form of proof that I had handed the phone for repairs, and the clerk gave me photocopy of the insurance claim form.
On 10/07/2015, I went into the store to follow up on the progress. I spoke to Harold at Autopage Greenstone, who said he couldn't find any reference about the repair, and that he would follow up. I phoned him later that day and got a reference R409700.
I phoned the Autopage repair centre earlier today, and was informed that the phone had only been sent to them on 13/07/2015. This means that the the branch sat on the phone for THREE weeks before sending it to the repair centre. I was informed that the repair centre will only forward a quote to the insurance company later this week. It could take another 3 to 4 weeks for this to be settled.
I think that the level of service I have experienced with this damaged phone is extremely bad.
