Altech Autopage is trying to rip me off

<br> I signed up for a tablet contract with Autopage cellular in August 2014. The contract included 2G of data every month. Upon signing up with them, I requested a limit to my contract. I requested a limit of R50 which meant that once my data charges reach R50 my service would be suspended. The reason I requested this limit service was to avoid high bills at the end of the month. They informed me that there would be a monthly fee of R5 for this limit service and I accepted it. The limit service on this contract worked well from then up until last Friday. Autopage sent me an email stating that my usage had exceeded the limit and I have to pay R2780 for usage charges. I then realized that my WiFi router where I have the tab sim card was hacked into and used by someone else. I went to the Westwood branch in Durban and asked them why was my service not suspended when the amount exceeded R50. They then informed me that the limit service is not guaranteed and I am responsible for payment. I called the head office and when I asked the agent where in the contract it states that the limit service is not guaranteed, the call mysteriously got disconnected. You can only try Autopage....<br> <br> <br>
