Altech Autopage does not deliver on promises

Two cell phone contacts were taken with this supplier. as do most suppliers it was promised that the phones would be up and running in the normal 48 hour window. the one contract was taken for my daughter at university away from home. it took almost 3weeks for the phone to be active- after phoning every evening- sometimes in the morning as well. there are no reference numbers to follow- but a printout showing the total hours spent running after the *********** customer care department. in that time my daughter had no cell to have her contacted as her previous sim was deactivated. <br> <br> i feel that taking contracts have become so easy but the maintenance and activation are such a pain with is service provider. this is the second time having problems with them.<br> whereas i walked in to another provider - upgraded my contract and was active by the next day.<br> this really should be the standard .
