Altech Autopage & CellC

My wife had a cell c contract with autopage and this contract was scheduled to expire on the 28 Oct 2015, we had give 1 month notice as per requirements as she did not want the contract to be renewed due to the simple fact that cell c had no signal at the Steve Biko hospital in Pretoria, she is a medial practitioner and could not be contacted as there was no signal at all, we contacted altech and cell c and they said that they were busy building a tower(seriously that was the response), I have the necessary reference for the calls, they removed her airtime and data on the exact date the contract was taken 2 years back(6 Oct) but we had to remain on the network until the 28th, I failed to understand why, we decide to take a contract out with Telkom on the 20 Oct 2015 and requested the number to be ported, Telkom is unable to port the number as autopage has since cancelled the contract and moved the number to prepaid, they have since told us that we need to pay an additional R500 to reconnect the number to contract so it can be ported, We are refusing to pay this because of the signal issue and it was of utmost importance that my wife was able to receive and make calls to the hospita
