Altech Autopage allowed my data to exceed my monthly limit, despite me paying my monthly limit fee - Value Added Service (VAS) - on my cellphone. They did notify me that it had been deactivated, yet I remained paying for the cap.

They expect me to pay the outstanding balance, yet there's been no communication from their side warning me that my VAS was deactivated. I took out the contract with Nashua Mobile, then Nashua Mobile transferred me to Altech Autopage. My open-line contract was due to end on 22 March 2015, but beginning April, I received my 100 min, sms and data.

When I called them to enquire about the continuation of the service, they said they don't notify clients that they contract has ended. My intention was to end the contract, but I soon realised that I had an amount of R3651 due to 4 GIG of data usage, due owing and queried this. I logged in a complaint, and they maintain that I have to settle the amount due or else it will affect my credit score negatively, despite me paying for VAS and not being notified that it had been deactivated. It appears that the excess data usage as due to my phone automatically saving all my photos and videos onto Samsung Cloud.
