The AA didn't even log the call for an elderly couple

My elderly parents called into your call center with a flat car battery issue while parked in the Cape Gate Mall car park.

They phoned three times and dealt with three different cosnultants who told them that they would get an SMS with a reference number. The first consultant gave them a bogus three digit reference number after the call. The second consultant told them that there was nothing logged on the system under their profile and the reference numbers are not three digits long and start with 00.

I have checked their phones and neither of them received any SMS with reference numbers and there is no communication with any acknowledgements, updates, resolutions or anything.

After being stranded with no help, after multiple calls and no updates, they were forced to get bystanders to try and assist them so that they could continue with the rest of their day.

Absolutely disgusting and pathetic service displayed to loyal, senior customers supporting The AA for more than thirty years and using the services maybe a handful of times throughout.

If you're not ashamed of yourselves and your service, you really should be.

Thanks for nothing guys, I feel really safe knowing that my elderly parents are in your hands.
