Rosey promises but no service or support when needed

I am with AA insurance and my premium is just over R2000 pm. I had an incident in December at the parking, which caused a dent on front right side of the bumper and a steering rack. I logged a claim with the insurance on 28 December. On 29 December my car was towed to the storage, and it was said by 9 January the paperwork will commence.

As I type (almost a month later), the paper work is still in progress, the panel beaters are still awaiting the insurance's approval.

At first it was said I didn’t disclose a claim from my previous insurance. When I called AA, I was connected on a conference call with MiWay, as the lady from AA was validating my statement with MiWay. Then suddenly an EXAMINER is appointed to validate the incident - he interviewed me, and he is still waiting for SAPS report.

It has been a daunting experience, which make me regret migrating to them. I will probably get my car end February, if they decide to fix it. No curtesy phone call or email. I literally on my own, have to repeat one incident multiple times

I have no peace of mind, I am being frustrated, yet I never miss a premium. Words cannot express what I am currently experiencing.

I am currently using public transport, probably for the next month also.

Hi Danny

Unfortunately some delays were experienced due to the time of the year, the suppliers only opened on the 9th January. We have been in constant communication with them to expedite all outstanding cases.

Our claims manager will stay in contact with you to keep you updated as to the progress.

Kind regards
