Not even worth a star. Disgusted to say the least.

Only selected one star as I did not have an option for no stars. Had my fuel pipe cut on Friday at my work parking space. Needless to say I was unable to start my car. I had another female passenger with me from work. When she left with alternative transport I immediately assessed the issue and as a member of the AA by default with my motor vehicle plan (Toyota) I called for assistance. This was at 17:45.

I was female alone with it getting darker in a area I have previously been attacked and a river nearby know for elements hiding in the dark. The call got answered and I stated what happened and that I was alone and needed immediate assistance to get safe and home. I had work responsibilities and family responsibilities as my grandfather passed away on the day before.

After 30min I had not received feedback and I did not know anyone on their way to help me. My battery was draining after calling about three times. One attempt had me hold for 10min after just telling the consultant that I was unsafe, alone and following up on the status of my towing truck. The line cut out and I called again. In the meantime I called the towing company myself and asked if they were on their way.

The driver had no idea that a case was logged and checked his phone. He said he would hurry and he had another job to finish nearby. With a ETA of 15min. Here I stood alone and in the dark.

Another consultant phoned back asking for all my details and reference numbers again. I gave the details and told them to sort our their services and call me back with an apology. Never heard from him again. That by the way was the manager I asked to speak to. Pathetic paying for a service so shameful in a country with so much violence against women in general and unsafe environments.

At 17:17 I received a message that the driver was coming. At 17:27 I dispatched him myself with the above emergency call. At 18:00 he arrived We probably finished around 18:45.

My point is bad service, lying to customers, disregard for my safety and dignity. Leaving me in tears and unsafe. Not knowing how I would get to the funeral and if my phone battery would last should something happen to me.

Don’t promise me 30/45 response and tell me after I stressed the emergency follow up call that the ETA is another 45mim.

This is not safe and this is unacceptable.
