No Roadside Assistance

AA ref nr ***<br> On Friday 24 April 2015 I drove from Pta to Bethlehem.<br> At 15h30 near Jhb I was involved in a minor accident.<br> At 16h30 my car broke down one km north of the Hoek Plaza Toll gate near Heidelberg on the N3 southbound. <br> <br> My first call to the AA was at 16h38.<br> The people that answered the numerous calls from me and my parents to the AA were all very friendly and calm, BUT TOTALLY ***********.<br> THEY WORK ON A SYSTEM, and they are unable to give you any information. they must refer you to a different person for every request or question. <br> 1. They could not determine my position - could not spell heidelberg or hoek toll plaza etc. no insight at all in where in the country I was.<br> 2. We requested immediate security which NEVER showed up - even after dark I was sitting alone for 2 hours<br> 3. The tow truck only arrived after 2 hours even though I was less than 10km from Heidelberg.<br> 4. My request for a rental car was a waste of time - they kept me on the phone so long that all my airtime ran out ! They could not give me any indication of how long it will take a rental car to get to me <br>
