I have been a member of the AA of SA since 1970. In that time I had paid a fortune in membership fees. I have also joined up and pay for my wife and son.<br> <br> Two hours ago my wife phoned to tell me that she had a problem with her car. She managed to limp in to the Shell Garage on the N2 between Sir Lowrys Pass Rd and Broadlands in the Helderberg area of Cape Town. I phoned the AA for her and they said they would dispatch a local service provider. That was 2 hours ago and she is still waiting to even hear from one of them.
