MISLEADING COMPANY

when I joined aa early this year I was told i had no access on my policy (main reason i took this insurance) but next thing I'm getting an email saying il be paying almost R12000 of excess out of the blue mind you i have never claimed, this is bull****!!! and when i call to get clarity on this i found out that initially i did have excess of R4000 that i didn't even know about because i was told i would have NO ACCESS on my policy, go back to your call recordings to check this. I'm shocked by this revelation you guys are no different from ********!

Hi Amanda

We are sorry to hear of your experience, and assure you that we are working closely with Constantia Insurance Company to find an amicable resolution to these increases.

Insurance Driven by the AA is underwritten by Constantia Insurance Company, who indicated that they must increase excess values to meet their obligations. We have worked closely with Constantia to minimise the impact of rising repair costs, however Constantia maintained that these increases were necessary to offset their costs. Whilst the excess were increased we have managed to maintain your current premium, and will continue to work to ensure affordable rates are maintained as far as possible.

Our Client Experience Manager will contact you directly to discuss your complaint in more detail.

Kind regards

The Insurance Driven by the AA Team
